The falls is around 500 m from Bhandardhara Bus stop and can be easily reached from Pune and Mumbai. It is also one of the most popular hotspots in Ahmednagar.

The falls are formed under the Wilson Dam. The force, by which the water falls on the rocks below, creates the imagery of an umbrella – it is a sight that you’d not want to miss for sure. The water body is also used for hydro-electric power generation.

There is also a bridge that is right below the waterfall, and you can get a full view of the falls right from the bridge. The best time to visit undoubtedly would be the monsoon season when the dam reaches the full capacity.
