Rajapur Hot Water Spring, also known as Unhale Hot Water Spring is situated in the village of Unhale near the city of Rajapur. The hot water spring is located on the flood plain of Kondivali River. It is the southern-most hot water spring along India’s west coast.
The spring’s water is diverted into a bathing facility for convenient public utility. Flocks of tourists visit Rajapur Hot Water spring every year to bathe in the Sulphur-rich hot water. It is believed that this natural Sulphur based water is medicinal and can treat a number of skin diseases and even rheumatism.
Unlike other spring, there isn’t a pool at Rajapur. Instead hot spring water temperature flows through the tap inside the bathing facility. There are two separate bathing units for women and men, respectively.
