Gondawale

Gondawale situated in taluka Maan 64kms from Satara is the Samadhi place of Shri Brahma Chaitanya Gondavalekar Maharaj. This is where he resided and is famous for his ‘math’. He was a devotee of Lord Ram and spent his entire life in propagating the teachings of Ram to people. His only simple belief was that pray to the lord without any expectation and chant ‘Shree Ram Jay Ram Jay Jay Ram’.

Gondawale is especially crowded on Pournima, Raamnavmi, Gurupournima and Gokulashtami and can be reached by a direct bus from Satara.
