Located in the middle of the scenic Ahupe village in Ambegaon Taluka, Ahupe Waterfalls is nestled in the Ahupe Ghat section. The ghats offer many narrow gorges with breathtaking drops. Ahupe village itself is very charming and it looks like a remote hamlet. Trekkers and hikers will love the dramatic views from the top.

To reach here, you can take the road that leads to Bhimashankar temple. On reaching the base village Dimbhe Khurd, you could travel till you reach Dimbhe Dam. The backwaters offer magnificent views and you can spend some moments soaking the scenic environs. Head towards Bhimashankar wildlife reserve to reach Ahupe Waterfalls. The serpentine roads donning the landscape with the mist in the air will keep you inspired. On reaching, you’ll be mesmerised by the cascading white falls in the backdrop of majestic mountains and steep valleys.

Travellers can plan a part of their travel through car or bus; however, the terrain is great for bikers who will love a biking opportunity. They would have to travel through some tarmac roads and dirt tracks. And to reach the last stretch to the waterfall one would have to hike up to some distance. However, the scenic vistas are a treat!
