Varasgaon Dam

Varasgaon Dam, also known as Veer Baji Pasalkar Dam is situated about 45 km away from Pune. Built over the Mose River, the dam is adjacent to the Panshet Dam. Alongside Panshet Dam and Khadakwasla Dam, it provides water to Pune city. The dam is located about 25 km away from the planned city of Lavasa. Over the years it has become a major tourist attraction and a popular picnic spot, owing to its proximity to Pune and Lavasa.
