Shri Narayani Dham

Shri Narayani Dham is a beautiful temple situated in Lonavala’s Dhankawadi area. It is situated 68 away from Pune and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Lonavala. The temple’s tranquil settings and up-to-date facilities make it the perfect place, where can spend some quality time with family away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Made of stunning white marble, Shri Narayani Dham was constructed in 2002. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Narayani and also houses the shrines of Lord Ganesha and Lord Hanuman. All the idols adorn exquisite jewelry from head to toe and are decorated with colorful flower-garlands. The temple’s atmosphere is divine and peaceful, and melodious pujas and artis are held throughout the day. There is ample space inside the temple, where one can relax, pray and meditate.

The pathway leading up to the temple is embellished with a series of striking fountains, which are lit up in the evening. Refreshing green lawns add to the beauty of this place. The gardens have swings and slides, where children can play to their hearts’ content. The temple and its grounds are well-maintained and absolutely clean. The temple complex has a ‘Gaushala’ (Cow Shed), where one can feed the cows for a nominal fee. Feeding the cows is a wonderful experience, especially for kids.

The temple offers lodging facilities with comfortable AC rooms available at reasonable rates. Prior booking of rooms is advisable, especially during weekend rush. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is also available at an economical cost. Delicious vegetarian food is freshly made every day and served at the huge community dining hall. The parking space within the temple is also very spacious. Elevator facility has been made available inside the complex, keeping in mind the convenience of senior citizens.
