Shivpuri

Shivpuri is located 3 kms to the north of the town of Akkalkot. Swami Samartha is considered as an Avatar and a Divine Yogi from the Lord Dattartreya Lineage, known to be the earliest lineage of Masters. Guru Mandir was established under Swamiji’s guidance and blessings and carries forward the lineage started by Him in 1857. Swamiji started the Guru Peetham (Lineage) with to revive this ancient wisdom and convey the true essence of knowledge to the world that was getting lost with time.  The Gurus succeeding Swamiji continued to spread His message and teachings amongst disciples. Paramsadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj, referred to as Shree by devotees worldwide was fourth in line of the Shree Swami Samartha Tradition.

Shree spread awareness about Agnihotra, a fire therapy, a technique for healing and finding inner peace which has transformed the lives of thousands of people around the world, by going beyond the man-made barriers of caste, creed, race, nationality and religion.

Shree founded spiritual retreat at Shivpuri, located 3 kms to the north of the town of Akkalkot to spread the message and knowledge of the Guru all over the world. Shivpuri is a Vedic Eco Community that blends ancient wisdom with modern technology. It is spread over 150 acres of organic farms, themed gardens and Ayurvedic plantation, the spiritual retreat is a global community that attracts visitors from all around the world. Thousands of people from all over the world visit the Ashram to learn the concepts of Panch Saadhan Marg (PSM) taught by Shree and experience healing vibrations.
