Dahanu is a picturesque coastal town in Maharashtra’s Palghar district known for its beautiful beaches, rose gardens, coconut groves and chickoos. It’s an ideal destination for a fun weekend getaway, away from the chaotic life in the city.

Dahanu Beach is absolutely serene, covered in shiny black sand and surrounded by lush greenery on all sides. Stay at a resort near the beach and enjoy a weekend full of shoreside fun. Play volleyball or cricket with buddies or build sandcastles with your kids. Kids may also enjoy horse-cart rides and camel rides.

Enjoy walking barefooted on the soft sand and dipping your feet in the cool sea water. Comb through the sand to collect seashells or sit under a tree’s shade to read a book. In addition, Warli Art, the famous tribal art of the Warli people originated in Dahanu and its neighbouring districts.
